In the tennis sport in the framework of the 2022 Central Java Student Sports Week (Pomprov) which was held at Jenderal Soedirman University (Unsoed), September 2-3, 2022, Diponegoro University won 2nd Place in Women’s Singles (Aulia Risma/Faculty of Economics and Business), 2nd place in Mixed Doubles (Athallah Firdianto/Faculty of Law and Aulia Risma/Faculty of Economics and Business), 3rd place in Men’s Singles (Athallah Firdianto/Faculty of Law), 3rd place in Women’s Doubles (Zheina Amartya/Faculty of Economics and Business and Safira Nadia/Faculty of Social Science and Political Science), and 3rd place in Mixed Doubles (Ariel Sebastian/Faculty of Law and Safira Nadia/Faculty of Social Science and Political Science).

This tennis sport competition was attended by student tennis athletes, both from public and private universities in Central Java, including Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto Muhammadiyah University, Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta University, Tunas Pembangunan University, Satya Wacana Christian University, Ngudi Waluyo University, Semarang State University, Diponegoro University, Surakarta Muhammadiyah University, Semarang Muhammadiyah University, and PGRI University Semarang.

The achievements that have been achieved by Undip students have certainly become the pride of not only the athletes but also Undip and it is hoped that the achievements can be maintained and further improved in future competitions. (Lin – Public Relations)
