Dear Parents, teachers, and staff,

Entrepreneurship week has been filled with activities and ideas. It has been wonderful to see the commitment to this key part of our vision across the continuum. The displays in the Grade 4 area stand testament to creativity combined with solid technical knowledge. The speakers (young entrepreneurs) were inspirational and the numbers of students who run their own businesses is also commendable. It was a very successful celebration.

Congratulations to StuCo for their organisation of a successful 3 x 3 tournament. Every lunchtime has been punctuated with the cheers of crowds of enthusiastic supporters. It is great to note the participation, the excitement as well as the high level of organisation. Well done!

On Wednesday we celebrate/acknowledge World Mental Health Day with the message that wellness is a critical component in a healthy lifestyle and that balance in one’s endeavours is critical. We encourage and support students to work very hard academically but at the same time understand and encourage that this should be part of a healthy all-round lifestyle. Please note that the school teaches wellness strategies as part of the SEAL programme and has a group of counsellors who can support students if/when needed.

Please consider the Santa run on Sunday, 4th of December. It is a great way to support an important charity.

Have a great week.
