News from the Executive Principal’s Desk

Dear Parents, Students, and Staff,

Gong Xi Fa Cai. All our best wishes for Chinese New Year this Sunday. We hope the new year brings peace and prosperity to all.

How nice it is to host the full format of the Ciputra Cup after a three-year absence. Special thanks need to go to the OSIS team and their support staff who have worked so hard to organise this two week, 64 team tournament.  We look forward to tough competition and high levels of good sportsmanship. It is so pleasing to see the high levels of service that these students give the school.

Speaking of service, our PSG are selfless in their support of the school and the wider community. I want to share their latest letter to support this.

Dear Sekolah Ciputra Family,

We thank you for your kind-hearted donations to the Parents Support Group (PSG).

During the World Food Day event last October, we received a total donation of Rp 190.660.000 and some necessities ( surgical masks, cooking oil, flour, coffee, rice , sugar, snacks ).
We also received preloved items and generated Rp 20.379.000 from the Garage Sale.

From your generous contribution, 1.461 less fortunate families were able to receive the Sembako packages. Yayasan Bhakti Luhur could also meet their December 2022 needs of 200 kg of flour.

Together with students from PYP and High School, we will continue to serve and make contributions to the community.
We plan to deliver another 1.000 Sembako Packages and 400 kg of flour in the first semester of 2023.

With your support, we will strive to be Caring IB profilers , share smiles, and be a blessing to others.

In gratitude,

PSG

We are so lucky to have such a supportive parent body.

Thank you to everyone who was involved in a highly successful Maths week where we also celebrated the 100th day of school. The ongoing focus on mathematics in the school is really paying off with some outstanding results.

There is so much going on and so much good news. Let’s also remember that in two weeks the Grade 12’s have their very significant mock examinations which will be very challenging for them coming out of an online environment but also absolutely necessary for their preparation for the IBDP exams. We wish them all the best of luck.

Have a great week.
