Batch 1 of the 2023 Lembaga Pengelola Dana Pendidikan (LPDP) scholarship registration has been opened starting today, Wednesday (25/1). This LPDP scholarship registration is only for master (S2) and doctoral (S3) programs.  LPDP provides opportunities for the nation’s children to develop educational competencies through inclusive scholarships for all Indonesian people. The LPDP Batch 1 registration period runs from January 25, 2023, to February 25, 2023. Meanwhile, Batch 2 will be opened on June 9 – July 9, 2023.

The programs opened in 2023 are:

General Program

2. World Premier Universities Scholarship

3. Partial Scholarship

Targeted Program

1. Scholarships for civil servants, military, police

2. Entrepreneurship Scholarship

3. Scholarship for Ulama Cadre Education

4. Specialist and Subspecialist Doctor Scholarships

Affirmation Program

1. Scholarship for Persons with Disabilities

2. Papuan Children Scholarship

3. Regional Affirmation Scholarship

4. Underprivileged Scholarship

For the note, the batch 1 scholarship selection will be applied for the earliest lecture in July 2023. Meanwhile, the batch 2 scholarship selection will be applied for lectures as early as January 2024. Here are the requirements:

1. Have a GPA of 3.00 at the time of undergraduate study for master program scholarship candidates and have a GPA of 3.25 at the time of master program for doctoral program candidates.
2. Meet the language requirements.
3. The age limit is 35 years old for the master’s program and 40 years old for doctoral degree.
4. For candidates for regular scholarship programs to continue their master’s in the country, they must have a TOEFL ITP certificate with a minimum score of 500, TOEFL iBT at least 61, PTE Academic at least 50, or IELTS at least 6.
5. For candidates for regular master’s programs abroad, they must have a TOEFL iBT certificate of at least 80, PTE Academic at least 58, or IELTS at least 6.5.
6. For candidates for regular scholarship programs who continue their doctorate in the country, have a minimum score of TOEFL ITP ability of at least 530, TOEFL iBT at least 70, PTE Academic at least 50, or IELTS at least 6.0.
7. Participants of the regular doctoral scholarship program abroad, must have a minimum score of TOEFL iBT 94, PTE Academic 65, or IELTS 7.0.
8. For candidates for affirmation scholarships to continue their master’s degree in the country, they must have a TOEFL ITP certificate of at least 400, TOEFL iBT at least 33, PTE Academic at least 30 or IELTS at least 4.5.
9. Meanwhile, candidates for overseas master’s affirmation programs must have a TOEFL score of at least 500, TOEFL iBT at least 61, PTE Academic at least 50, or IELTS at least 6.
10. All candidates for D-4 / bachelor or master programs must be from accredited universities.
11. For those applying for the doctoral degree, must have a research proposal.
12. Applicants are not currently applying, receiving, or will receive other scholarships.
13. Write a commitment to return to Indonesia, plans to contribute after the study is completed, and post-study plans.
14. Complete the registration profile provided.
15. Sign the declaration letter.
16. Overseas graduate applicants must attach GPA conversion and diploma equivalency results.
17. Applicants are not currently pursuing a degree or non-degree study.
