Dear Parents, Students and Staff,

The calibre of and enthusiasm for the arts has been very evident throughout the week. There has been a great combination of visual and performing arts. This was particularly evident of Friday night with a fabulous performance of performing arts. It was spectacular. It is so nice to have students from across the continuum demonstrate what they have learned and also demonstrate their passion and enthusiasm. As we so often say, thank you also to the staff who gave their time and effort to make this happen! We look forward to the grade 12 art exhibition on Thursday at Ciputra University.

Thank you once again to everyone who was involved with the personal project. The following write up from Pak Fery encapsulates its success.

“The personal project exhibition at Sekolah Ciputra, which had the theme “Sustainable Lifestyles Improve Human Well-Being,” was a huge success. The exhibition, which was held on February 22, 2023, highlighted our pupils’ intelligence and originality. They had worked on their ideas for months. A variety of projects, including sustainable product designs, community engagement initiatives, and awareness campaigns, were displayed during the expo. Students had studied a variety of sustainability-related topics, investigating how to decrease waste, preserve energy, and advance biodiversity.

The exhibition’s attendees were astounded by the degree of ingenuity and innovation on display. Several people were astounded by the variety of ideas the students had for promoting sustainable living. The display served as a monument to the effort and commitment of our students, who had shown a profound grasp of how human well-being and the environment are intertwined. The event was a big success, and both students and professors as well as attendees praised the students’ efforts. We are pleased to continue fostering sustainability and constructive change in our neighborhood and beyond and are proud of our students’ accomplishments.”

Well done to all the grade 10 students who enjoyed a very successful work experience week. Weeks like this are invaluable as they give great insight and also help students to focus on their futures. Students learn what they enjoy (and do not enjoy) which certainly helps clarify their thought processes.

This is the final week of term. We wish everyone a wonderful break and look forward to a focused and successful final semester.

Have a great week.
