KUI UNDIP Together with EduPlan Indonesia Organized an Info Session Event for Students

The International Affairs Office of Diponegoro University (KUI Undip) held an “Info Session Event” activity with speakers from Eduplan Indonesia on Friday, March 10, 2023 at 09.00 – 11.00 WIB in the Prof. Darmanto Jatman, S.U. Hall, 1st floor of the Faculty of Psychology Building, Diponegoro University, Tembalang Campus Semarang. The event was attended by the Academic Director of Student and Alumni Affairs, Hanifa Maher Denny, S.KM., MPH., Ph.D. The invited speakers were Yunius Cesar, S.E., M.B.A. and Primadi, S.E., M.B.A. who conveyed information about further study scholarships abroad.

EduPlan Indonesia is an educational consultant engaged in the recruitment of students in Indonesia to continue their studies at higher education institutions throughout Europe. This activity provides several solutions for students who will continue their studies in Europe and assists students in accessing or obtaining some valuable information about how to study in Europe.

The socialization event was officially opened by the Undip Academic Director of Student and Alumni Affairs, Hanifa Maher Denny, S.KM., MPH., Ph.D who conveyed the importance of establishing good relations in order to be able to communicate smoothly, including with KUI and Eduplan. “If you have a dream, you have to believe in yourself and you have to invest your time and effort to achieve your dream. Don’t be afraid to have a big dream, you will get what you want,” said Hanifa.

The discussion session with the speakers was led by the Deputy Head of the KUI Undip, Diastama Anggita Ramadhan, S.H., LLM. The first resource person was Yunius Cesar, S.E., M.B.A. who is an alumnus of the S1 Faculty of Economics and Business, Diponegoro University who presented the topic regarding “Opportunities for Further Study Abroad in the Department of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics”. The material presented by Yunius Cesar was entitled “Excellent and Affordable Study in UK and Europe (Scholarship Available)”. Yunius Cesar conveyed information about several educational institutions in Europe such as information about faculties, admissions, requirements, applications, tuition fees, scholarships, and so on. “The main requirement for sure is an IELTS score. For the cost of living, from various countries in Europe, in the Netherlands it is relatively cheap and the majority of the population can speak English,” said Yunius Cesar.

The event was followed by a presentation by the second speaker, Primadi, S.E., M.B.A., an alumnus of the S1 Faculty of Economics and Business, Diponegoro University who presented topics of “Opportunities for Further Study Abroad with Scholarships and Studying and Living Abroad”. Primadi told students to be confident in themselves and continue to raise awareness about other cultures to interact and seek information, opinions and ideas from various sources while studying in Europe. Students are invited to make as many friends as possible from all over the world to expand connections and enjoy time while studying abroad, interspersed with exploring Europe and enjoying its culture. “Know your potential and challenge yourself outside of your comfort zone. By studying abroad, we can have a more open mind,” concluded Primadi.
