News from the Executive Principal’s Desk

Dear Parents, students, teachers and Sekolah Ciputra community

Congratulations to all students and staff who participated in and rose to the challenges presented by the camps. We have already had lots of very positive feedback about the schedule and the way in which challenges were met and overcome. Everyone who participated will have had a moment that they can look back on where they were challenged and were able to overcome the challenge. In so doing everyone has grown in strength and resilience.

On Wednesday having returned for camp the grade 7 – 10 students face a challenge of a different sort. They will begin work on their final summative task which will form part of their final report. This, like the school camps, helps build resilience as challenges are accepted, undertaken and overcome. Once again, we wish all students the very best of luck with their final summative task.

We had well over one hundred and fifty parents attend the PSG sponsored workshop on discussing issues of sex and sexuality with your children. Thank you very much to the student support staff, the parent support group and all the attendees for a job well done. Please note that our student support staff are available for follow up with parents for any issues that may arise.

This weekend we have a record number of students attending the Sekolah Ciputra World Scholars’ Cup. It is wonderful to have this event back on the calendar after a hiatus of three years and we look forward to great competition, great achievements and great support in what will be another wonderful event.

Have a great week.
