1.After graduating from Sekolah Ciputra, where do you study? What is your major?

Universitas Ciputra and my major is Computer Science.

2. What did you do after graduating from university?

I went to Jakarta and worked for Bukalapak; one of the biggest e-commerce companies in Indonesia. I worked there as a mobile application developer (specializing in Android) for 3 years. Then I moved back to Surabaya and worked for Mamikos; one of the biggest companies that provide shared houses and flats for rent, and I worked there for 2 years. Then I worked at Vidio; one of the biggest streaming platforms in South East Asia, and I worked there for 4 months until I finally moved to Auckland, New Zealand.

3. What is your current occupation?

I work as a senior android engineer at MEGA The Privacy Company; one of the largest cloud storage providers in the world.

4. What was the biggest challenge of moving to a new country?

The culture, the work ethics and the competition among co-workers are different from Indonesia.

5. What do you enjoy most about your new environment?

Working with the smartest people in the industry, and learning a lot from them. Innovating and solving real-world problems everyday always gets me excited.

6. In what way did Sekolah Ciputra contribute to your job right now?

Sekolah Ciputra helped me to become an engineer who can compete domestically and internationally, with their unique curriculum and culture.

7. What was the best thing about Sekolah Ciputra? Tell us something memorable from your time at Sekolah Ciputra

The best thing about Sekolah Ciputra is their curriculum. Everything was taught in English. During my time in Sekolah Ciputra, we used to write a lot of essays in English and it is very useful throughout my university years and career. Non-academically, Sekolah Ciputra also promotes healthy lifestyle with their Sports Day, Athletics Day, Swimming Carnival, OSIS Soccer Leagues, Super Sports and other sports events. In my opinion, this is one of the most unique traits of Sekolah Ciputra.

8. What advice would you give to a graduating student?

Mathematics is important! I can’t stress this enough, because when I was in school, everyone was always saying that when we graduated from school, mathematics will be forgotten. Well, that is obviously not true, in fact everything in the real world revolves around mathematics. In addition, English is also important! In my experience, you can be a genius, but if you can’t speak English; how can you compete internationally if nobody understands you?

9. Would you recommend Sekolah Ciputra to others? If yes, what would you say about it?

Yes. I would say that Sekolah Ciputra provided me with the tools necessary to not only compete domestically, but also internationally both in academic and non-academic aspects.

10. What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

Exercise, like gym-workout, football or soccer are the things I enjoy most and one of the things I got from being a Sekolah Ciputra student.
