PrimeOne School (POS) organized a class trip to PT Medan Media Graphicatama 17th ^– 18th ^October   , 2023. The objective of this class trip visit was to give students an exposure to the function and process of the printing press.

The engineer showed how the ink transfers which are used to stamp on the paper for printing newspapers, tabloids, magazines, books, annual reports, calendars, agendas, and promotional materials such as brochures, leaflets, and catalogues, which have been widely circulated in the community. He explained that colors are obtained by mixing primary colors. The students were also brought into the control room from where all the machines are controlled. They were amazed how a set of different machines neatly cut, stacked, folded, covered and tied the paper into organized bundles which went out through a conveyor belt. It was an interesting, informative and entertaining trip. Thank you, POS!
