Another milestone of global recognition for Unida Gontor has been tapped in the center of Asian countries namely Uzbekistan. Since its independence, Uzbekistan has transformed an immense work to produce a noble generation through educational reform. Tashkent State Pedagogical University Named After Nizami has been established to pave the way of national agenda in the field of education.

Ikromxonova Firuza Ikromovna, the Vice Rector of International Relation of this university expressed the unwavering support to explore the untapped potential from other foreign entities including University of Darussalam Gontor Indonesia. She blithely welcomed Assoc. Prof. Dr. Akhmad Affandi Mahfudz, CPIF as a representative of University of Darussalam Gontor Indonesia to explore the untapped potential between both parties which encompass student and lecturer mobility, joint research and publication as well as joint organizer of international conference. The discussion resembles the potent interest of both parties to strengthen the ties that wreaks mutual benefits. During the meeting, both parties expect mutual ties can be formally materialized in the near future.

His visit to this university is ahead of the seminar organized by the Department of Pedagogy of Primary Education, 28th November 2023. He has been invited and asked to share the educational systems of Unida Gontor that wreak the curiosity of Professors, teachers and participants of this seminar on integrating Gontor’s values and norms that are embedded in academic and non-academics activities. In addition, as a Waqf based university, Unida Gontor is regarded as the most renowned academic institution that upholds Islamic values.
