International Conference on Islamic Economics Law focus to Explore Sharia and Law on Contemporary Economics and Halal Issues

UNIDA Gontor – Saturday of December 30, 2023, the Faculty of Sharia at University of Darussalam Gontor orchestrated the much-anticipated 2nd International Conference on Islamic Economic Law (ICIEL 2023). With the overarching theme of “Sharia and Law on Contemporary Economics and Halal Issues,” this event served as a pivotal gathering for scholars and practitioners alike.

In a testament to the evolving landscape of academic conferences, ICIEL 2023 embraced a hybrid approach, seamlessly blending offline and online elements. The distinguished quartet of presenters included Prof. Dr. Irwandi Jazwier, Nurdeng Deuraseh, Ph.D., Dr. Muhammad Aqil Irham, M.S.I., and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Imam Kamaluddin, Lc., M.Hum. Their diverse expertise promised a comprehensive exploration of the conference’s overarching themes.

The resonance of the conference extended beyond its format, captivating a diverse audience of participants who demonstrated profound enthusiasm for engaging in discussions revolving around the halal field.
