Dear Parents, students, teachers and Sekolah Ciputra community,

Happy Easter for those who celebrated it. It is wonderful to see the charity work being undertaken by our students. The following is a short report on one such activity. “On Monday, 25 March 2024, 13 members of STUCO went to the Tuhan Baik orphanage. The activity was filled with compassion and generosity. The STUCO members distributed essential daily necessities such as rice, a box of eggs, bathroom essentials, clothes that were donated by the PSG, and frozen food. The donation is initiated to ensure that the basic needs of the children in the orphanage are met. Additionally, the STUCO thoughtfully prepared goodie bags filled with stationery items, providing both practical supplies and a touch of joy. Through this activity, the STUCO members showed the spirit of kindness and loving others, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of those they touched at Tuhan Baik orphanage in Ngagel area”. It is important to note that this type of activity has a significant impact on the recipient and the giver of charity. Those in need benefit socially, emotionally as well as physically. The giver also gains a sense of perspective and understanding of how important it is to think of the needs of others and to be grateful for what they have. This is just one of many, many activities that students are involved in.

The week ahead sees a continuation of our PAIS/PAT testing. It will be interesting to see how our cohorts have developed since the first test at the beginning of the year. This once again will give feedback on our programmes.

On Thursday, we have another meeting of the community engagement PLC which is a group consisting of students, parents and staff who work together with planning to ensure that there are strong bonds within the wider school community. As we have stated many times before. When the whole community is united in a vision it greatly enhances both academic outcomes and the likelihood of realising that vision.  We look forward to continuing these wonderful relationships.

If you are in the MPH building (the administration building) please take a minute to look at the wonderful display of elementary art. It looks fabulous. Congratulations to all the grade 11 students and their teachers for the wonderful work at the design/entrepreneurship bazaar. It was another wonderful event. Lastly, Happy Eid Al-Fitr 1445 H, wish you and your family a very happy and peaceful Eid!

Have a great week!
