A formidable works have to be devoted by all parties to ameliorate geographical and environmental issues to achieve global sustainable development goals. Indeed, it is imperative to discuss pertinent issues on external funds that can be used as financial assistance to fund the project on the environment and other related issues. In this regard, global experts have repeatedly trampled the way out upon these issues but the conundrum needs a prompt action by all parties.
In view of this, the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Science, Al Farabi Kazakh National University Kazakhstan has organized a remarkable event namely International Scientific and Practical Conference: Geographical Foundation of Sustainable Development. This event was held on 23-24 November 2023. Meanwhile, University of Darussalam Gontor Indonesia represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Akhmad Affandi Mahfudz, CPIF has been invited to deliver his keynote speech during this event.
He stated that more potent revamp amid faltering economies need to be addressed due to the recent pandemic of COVID-19, geographical and environmental aspects that hitherto become unresolved matters.
During his speech, he blithely shared the idea of incorporating Islamic financial instruments as an alternative investment for external funds including Sukuk. He emphasized the significance of integration and synergy between all experts and scientists including in the field ofIslamic finance.
This event aims to address current issues in geography and environment. The conference also expects an exchange of scientific experience by many global experts who attended this conference. Therefore, this conference features the participation of global as well as domestic renowned scholars and experts.
Unida Gontor Indonesia would be blithely welcomed Al Farabi Kazakh National University Kazakhstan to work hand in hand to resolve global geographical as well as environmental issues that strain our efforts to achieve sustainable development goals.
